Ritz Paris Online Store Redesign
Project aims: Following the complete redesign of Ritz Paris booking experience, the next phase was to make a full integration of the current online store using the new digital identity and UI elements.
Design phase duration: September 2023 to December 2023.
My role: Led the scoping phase to define the main pillars of the Ritz Paris shopping experience and find solutions for a seamless integration into the user journey within the Ritz Paris ecosystem.

Scoping workshops : Implement the new shopping experience into the current hotel ecosystem
In 2023, I led the comprehensive redesign of the Ritz Paris online store, aiming to enhance the digital shopping experience and align it with the brand’s esteemed reputation. This project involved a meticulous overhaul of the website’s architecture, design, and functionality to meet the evolving needs of luxury consumers.
Project Overview
The primary objective was to create an intuitive platform that allows anyone to bring the iconic objects of the Ritz into their home, extending the experience of their stay and reflects the elegance and sophistication synonymous with the Ritz Paris brand. Key aspects of the project included:
- Information Architecture: Conducted an in-depth analysis of existing content to reorganize and streamline the site’s structure, ensuring seamless navigation and accessibility.
- User Experience Design: Developed wireframes and prototypes focusing on user journeys, emphasizing ease of use and engagement across all devices.
- Visual Design: Crafted a refined aesthetic that mirrors the luxury and heritage of Ritz Paris, incorporating high-quality imagery and elegant typography.
- E-commerce Integration: Implemented a robust e-commerce system to facilitate secure transactions and efficient order management.
Challenges and Solutions
One of the significant challenges was balancing the rich history of Ritz Paris with modern e-commerce functionalities. To address this, I collaborated closely with stakeholders to ensure the design honored the brand’s legacy while providing a contemporary shopping experience.
Additionally, optimizing the site for mobile devices was crucial, given the increasing trend of mobile shopping. Responsive design techniques were employed to ensure consistent performance and aesthetics across all screen sizes.
The redesigned online store successfully launched in june 2024, receiving positive feedback from users and stakeholders alike.
